A few years ago, FIP was seen as a death sentence.
Back then, we had one simple mission —
to help more cat parents understand that FIP can be cured,
and to give more FIP cats the chance to live.
That’s how Maxpaw was born.
After years of dedication, we’ve helped over 17,000 cats worldwide overcome FIP —
with a recovery rate as high as 98%.
But through countless rescues, we also saw another side of the journey.
Many cats suffered from the side effects of medication —
loss of appetite, and a rapid decline in liver and kidney function.
Even after recovery, some remained fragile.
So we began to ask ourselves:
Is “cure” really just about being FIP-free?
Or should it mean something deeper —
that every cat can pass through treatment more comfortably,
and return to a life full of health, energy, and longevity?
Because to us, it’s not just about saving lives —
it’s about restoring happiness and wholeness.
