Symptoms of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) It may take several weeks to months for cats to show symptoms of FIP. The initial signs of FIP can range from depression to changes in appetite to fever.

The Blood Work Cheat Sheet

| A:G Ratio | < 0.7 (Critical Risk: < 0.6) | Most strong indicator of FIP. (Albumin to Globulin Ratio) |
| Globulin (GLOB) | High / Elevated | Indicates chronic inflammation/infection. |
| Albumin (ALB) | Low | Often drops due to organ damage. |
| Bilirubin (TBIL) | High | Often linked to Dry FIP/Liver damage. |
| SAA(Inflammation) | Extremely High | Shows acute inflammation common in FIP. |
